BentallGreenOak | Regent's Wharf
A workplace revolution
There’s heritage everywhere you look in London. But sometimes that history isn’t always the feature that it should be. Or even worse, it’s left to get stale, without anyone putting a new spin on things.
Regent’s Wharf has centuries of stories to tell – having played a critical role in the industrial revolution. And when BentallGreenOak and its WELPUT fund brought us onboard to help reshape the site as a modern canalside campus, the first thing we did was think about challenging the status quo. Because in an area with its fair share of office developments, Regent’s Wharf had to stand out. Cue electric eels, flying pigs, and a disruptive campaign that reignited the spirit of the site, and connected it with the King’s Cross of today.
Looking back to move forward
Taking inspiration from the key role Regent’s Wharf played in transforming London into a national and international powerhouse, we used vintage-style imagery and typography as a central pillar of the new brand. This not only paid tribute to the roots of the site, but also led to the development of a singular look and feel that could only have been produced here, and which we’ve since rolled out to a full website, launch campaign, and stunning marketing suite, alongside artwork and signage that celebrates the past and brings it into the physical fabric of the campus.
