About

After a JV acquisition, Tristan Capital Partners and XLB Property began a strategic investment programme in Cody Technology Park to reinforce its standing as Europe’s leading campus for the aerospace and defence industries. Now, the brand needed an upgrade to match.

Bringing innovation to the fore, we engineered a bold identity along the principles that define the Park itself: precision, security, intelligence, collaboration, and unwavering forward momentum.

The word CODY in bold, grey, modern font is displayed on a dark textured background.

The brandmark

The geometry of progress

Clean but characterful with iconic letterforms, the brandmark isn’t just a badge. It’s a blueprint for the whole visual system.

Evoking progress, movement, and the flow of ideas, the engineered curves inform illustration grids, iconography, motion behaviours, and even signage systems.

Inspiration

Led by innovation

Cody is no ordinary business park. Strategically placed at the birthplace of British aviation, it’s a purpose-built hub for leaders in aerospace, defence and advanced technology to thrive alongside the brightest minds in their fields.

Here, innovation isn’t an aspiration. It’s built into the architecture, culture and purpose of the place itself. This became our North star, informing a brand system that feels intelligent, precise, and future-focused – without ever being cold or inaccessible.

Colour

Between possibility and control

The colour palette expresses precision and energy by combining deep graphite and high-contrast white with measured jolts of striking, engineered orange.

Beautiful clarity

Illustration & Iconography

Functional and technical, the brand’s iconography is rooted in precision too. Each clean, engineered form reflects the industries Cody serves, while the minimalist design ensures clarity in high-information environments.

A laptop on an orange chair displays a bright red screen with large white text reading CODY and a small ENTER button on the right-hand side.
A tablet displays a close-up image of turbine blades with the word CODY in large orange letters across the screen, lying on a two-toned, perforated metal surface.
A tablet displays a website with the text “Collaboration and innovation side by side, abstract red and white graphics, and photos of people working. The tablet is on a two-tone, dotted background.
A tablet displays a website with a photo of a person in glasses and white polo-neck, next to large orange text reading Designing spaces for success.

Signage

Identity in the environment

The brand comes to life throughout the environment, particularly in signage, where the imagery highlights mechanical expertise and human intelligence. Reinforcing Cody as a place where people and ideas are as integral as the infrastructure itself.

A man in a black polo shirt with CODY on it stands against a solid orange background, partially in shadow.
A person in a black outfit holds a white tote bag with the word CODY and small red text printed on it, against a black background.
A lanyard holds two ID badges, with the front badge showing the name Mark Radlett, Technology Director at QinetiQ, and the CODY logo on an orange background.
A wall-mounted black sign with red accents directs to the gym, sports hall, and showers, featuring icons for each facility and the word CODY at the bottom.
A group of people stands in front of a large illuminated directory sign for Cody Technology Park, displaying directions to the Cody Gate Reception, Main Concourse, and Buildings A1–A8.
