About

Located in the Texas Golden Triangle on a site stretching the equivalent of central London to Heathrow, Sandow Lakes is a new masterplanned community on a truly Lone Star scale.

Bringing together advanced manufacturing with commercial, retail, leisure and residential neighbourhoods, the first task of our ongoing role was to devise a new overarching place brand and narrative. That meant looking to the past to define the future.

Full of character

We created a bespoke font featuring illustrations and found elements from our Lone Star location. This flexible set of characters became our visual toolkit; a unique way to tell many different stories in a way truly unique to Sandow Lakes. As our Creative Director puts it, "the stories were already there, we just gave them a voice.".

Between past and possibility

The most interesting places aren't built from scratch, they're built from what remains and what's still to come. Our brand for Sandow Lakes had to celebrate all elements of its story, from the industrial legacy to the advanced manufacturing future, the abundant nature to the people who will leave their mark here.
