Today’s homebuyers want more than just a property. As our work, home, and social lives continue to become intertwined, the areas that surround where we live have never been more important, or needed to be more holistic. Consisting of a collection of apartments surrounding Brentford FC’s stadium, just a few minutes from Kew Gardens and Gunnersbury Park, EcoWorld’s vision for Verdo was a new neighbourhood that gives people the freedom and flexibility to live, work, and play, on their terms.
We developed the scheme’s brand pillars, along with a placemaking strategy that revolved around community and sustainability. To make sure the brand felt connected to the area, we spent months of research developing the strategy – understanding the area, what it was missing, and how the development could benefit not only residents, but the wider community as well.
Launching with a bang
To celebrate the development’s opening, we worked closely with an events company to throw a huge summer party. Brentford FC players, celebrities, local press, and the wider community came down to mingle with local residents and learn more about the vision for the site. All set against a backdrop of performances from Ella Eyre and Fleur East, along with an array of fresh food stalls to help promote local businesses. And it hasn’t stopped there. We’ve since helped host fitness events, cooking classes, and other engaging workshops which continue to promote Verdo as a modern, exciting space for life and play.
